Xmas in France with doodle!

doodle, tim and me in Paris !

Some photos from 11th gateauxcredi. We went to this really cute (and huge) place with desserts that looked SO GOOD. and my gateaux was my favorite of all time. The lady at the store explained what was in it, but all I heard was “it’s really good” and she was so right. It was amazing. When Madge comes (SATURDAY!), I’m going to make her go back to this place and I’m going to get it again!! In other news, I am ready for the break. Not because I am overworked or anything, but just because the kids are starting to bug me. Oh well it happens! bonnes vacances!

The kids put their gloves on the heaters during class. So cute

10th gateauxcredi was celebrated with delicious gateaux (of course!) Jennifer had a brownie chocolate-y type while I went for a more donut-looking creme puff thing. Very delicious. Then Jessica and Tyler came over and we decorated the tree (a bit small, only took about 10 minutes) and sat around and drank coco (I may have burnt the milk) beer and sang xmas songs. Perfect evening. Another successful gateauxcredi.

Snowy in Saint-Quentin. Today the principal of one of the schools (which only has three classes in total) couldn’t get to school so they just canceled her class (the principals also teach here) but not the other two in the school. Bizarre

American Thanksgiving in France was a great success! We had a turkey, pumpkin pie, mashed potatoes (reg and sweet!) and lots of other awesome food! Definitely made me happy to celebrate the holiday even in France, and especially with such great people!
